Authenticated server-side request via unchecked URL validation
Published Jun 22, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in Jenkins EasyQA Plugin 1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to connect to an arbitrary HTTP server. A form-validation method accepts a user-controlled server URL and opens the connection without checking authorization beyond Overall/Read. Any account with Overall/Read access can make the Jenkins controller initiate the outbound request, exposing server-side network reachability.
