Outbound HTTP connections via CSRF-prone validation
Published Jun 22, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
CSRF in Jenkins EasyQA Plugin 1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to initiate outbound HTTP connections. A form-validation method accepts non-POST requests and uses attacker-supplied input as the destination of a controller-side HTTP connection. Overall/Read permission is required, and the demonstrated consequence is limited to making the Jenkins controller contact an attacker-specified HTTP server.
