Published Jun 22, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Jenkins CRX Content Package Deployer Plugin 1.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in Jenkins. Parameter views render attacker-controlled CRX Content Package Choice names and descriptions without escaping their HTML and JavaScript content. Exploitation requires Item/Configure permission, a page that lists the parameter, and a viewer-facing page not hardened against this class of injection.
