HTTP header injection in IBM WebSphere Application Server and Liberty allows remote authenticated users to poison caches or inject scripts. IBM has not disclosed the specific web-request header, code locus, or validation error that permits attacker-controlled data to enter downstream HTTP headers. Low-privilege network access is required; affected releases are WebSphere 7.0, 8.0, 8.5, and 9.0 and Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 22.0.0.9.
