Account takeover via Image plugin CSRF
Published Aug 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
CSRF in the Image plugin in Apache JSPWiki before 2.11.3 allows remote attackers to escalate group privileges or reset an account password. A crafted Image invocation causes the victim's browser to submit state-changing group or profile requests without an anti-CSRF token check. A logged-in victim must process the crafted content; successful requests can change group membership or account email and enable password reset.
