Stored XSS via unescaped callback contact fields
Published Nov 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Stored XSS in Blue Coral Chat Bubble before 2.3 allows remote attackers to inject scripts through public callback contact fields. The Simple CallBack form accepts the fname and fphone parameters without sanitizing them, and the Callback dashboard renders the stored values without escaping. The feature must be enabled, and an administrator must open the related Callback Message, causing the payload to execute in the administrator's browser.
