CVE-2022-34110Public exploit

Arbitrary file download via unrestricted Video URL

Published Sep 12, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

Arbitrary file download in MSI Feature Navigator 1.0.1808.0901 allows local users to fetch files from external hosts through the Video browser. The Media settings' Video Browse control accepts a URL as a filename without restricting file type or size, and Windows stores the retrieved content in the user's NetCache directory. A low-privileged local session and access to the application's settings are required; the result is file transfer onto the host rather than direct execution.
