Arbitrary code execution via malformed project file

Out-of-bounds write in OMRON CX-Programmer 9.78 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted project file. The project-file parser writes beyond an allocated buffer while loading malformed project data; public sources do not identify the affected function or field. A user must open the file in the Windows application, after which the process can crash or run attacker-controlled code with that user's privileges.
