Filesystem service interruption via unprotected primary channel
Published Aug 22, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Unprotected primary channel handling in Dell PowerScale OneFS allows remote attackers to interrupt filesystem services over a network. Dell identifies the locus only as a primary channel and has not published the channel, protocol, request, or validation failure that permits disruption. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation denies filesystem services without reported data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
