CVE-2022-33931Network attack vector

Authenticated alert-category modification via undisclosed authorization failure

Published Aug 10, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Improper access control in the Wyse Management Suite 3.7 and earlier UI allows remote authenticated users to change alert categories. Dell identifies the Alert Classification UI as the locus but does not disclose the failing request handler or authorization operation. A low-privileged account and network access to the management console are required, and exploitation alters alert categorization.
