Code execution via PCT/DWF parser read
Published Oct 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Autodesk Design Review 2018 allows remote attackers to execute code via a malicious PCT or DWF file. DesignReview.exe parses attacker-supplied PCT or DWF data with a read access violation that corrupts process memory. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted file, and code execution occurs in the context of the current process, in conjunction with other vulnerabilities.
