Code execution via out-of-bounds parser write

Out-of-bounds write in Autodesk Maya 2022 and 2023 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted MODEL or SLDPRT file. The MODEL and SLDPRT parser writes beyond its allocated buffer because crafted file data is not handled safely, triggering an unhandled exception. A user must cause Maya to parse the file, after which the attacker can corrupt memory and take control of the application process.
