Code execution via X_B parser over-read
Published Oct 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Autodesk AutoCAD 2020 through 2023 allows remote attackers to execute code by supplying a crafted X_B file. The X_B parser reads past the end of an allocated buffer when it processes attacker-controlled file data. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open the file, and code runs in the context of the current process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
