Memory corruption via crafted-file out-of-bounds write
Published Oct 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Autodesk Moldflow 2019 and 2021 allows context-dependent attackers to corrupt process memory via a crafted file. The affected applications write beyond an intended buffer while consuming the file, but Autodesk has not disclosed the parser, file format, or faulty operation. A user must open or import the file; code execution is reported only when this flaw is combined with other vulnerabilities.
