Authenticated file disclosure via download input validation
Published Dec 6, 2022 · Updated Oct 22, 2024
Improper input validation in Fortinet FortiADC allows remote authenticated users to retrieve Linux files through crafted HTTP requests. The download features insufficiently validate request input and return underlying-system files whose names have specific extensions. Access to an authenticated management interface is required, and disclosed impact is limited to reading matching files rather than arbitrary code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
