Authenticated command execution via backup SQL injection
Published Dec 6, 2022 · Updated Oct 22, 2024
SQL injection in affected Fortinet FortiADC releases allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through crafted HTTP requests. The configuration-backup feature fails to neutralize SQL metacharacters before incorporating request data into a database command. A valid account is required, and the resulting database injection executes unauthorized code or commands in the appliance context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
