Stack-based buffer overflow in Fortinet FortiWeb allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through crafted CLI operations. The execute backup-local rename and execute backup-local show operations process crafted CLI input in a way that overflows a stack-based buffer. Exploitation requires a privileged account and can compromise data or interrupt the appliance.
