CVE-2022-3378

Code execution via uninitialized FNT parser pointer

Published Oct 27, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025

Out-of-bounds write in Horner Automation Cscape 9.90 SP7 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a crafted FNT file. The FNT parser accesses an uninitialized pointer while handling user-supplied font data, causing a write outside the intended memory buffer.
