Password disclosure via anti-brute-force bypass
Published Sep 20, 2022 · Updated May 28, 2025
Password verification failure in Huawei WS7200-10 11.0.2.13 allows remote attackers on the LAN to obtain passwords by brute force. The password-verification path permits attackers to bypass the anti-brute-force mechanism, so repeated guesses are not adequately restricted. Network adjacency is required, and successful password recovery exposes sensitive system information.
