Published Aug 5, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in onCharacteristicChanged in Samsung Charm before 1.2.3 allows local users to read Bluetooth connection data. The callback exposes Bluetooth connection information through an implicit intent without enforcing receiver permission. A local app needs no Charm permission to receive the data, while integrity and service availability remain unaffected.
