Unauthenticated heap overflow via baseband integer overflow
Published Aug 5, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper input validation in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Aug-2022 Release 1 allows remote attackers to trigger a baseband heap overflow. The baseband fails to validate an undisclosed input before an integer calculation, allowing the integer result to overflow and drive a heap overflow.
