Wi-Fi information disclosure via unprotected broadcast intents
Published Jul 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Sensitive information exposure in the CSC application before SMR Jul-2022 Release 1 allows local users to access Wi-Fi information. CSC sends a broadcast intent containing Wi-Fi connection data without a permission, allowing another local application to receive it. The attacker must run local code on an affected device, and the documented consequence is disclosure without integrity or availability impact.
