Improper access control in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Jul-2022 Release 1 allows attackers to change the preferred network type. TelephonyUI exposes a Binder call that changes this setting without first enforcing caller permission. Local code execution on an affected device is required; an unauthorized caller can alter cellular network selection and interrupt connectivity.
