Improper certificate validation in Apache Pulsar C++ and Python Clients allows man-in-the-middle attackers to steal OAuth2.0 credentials. ClientCredentialFlow explicitly disables libcurl peer and host verification for issuer discovery and token requests, overriding secure configuration. Exploitation requires an active on-path attacker, who can intercept or alter issuer traffic and reuse exposed client credentials to authenticate to a Pulsar cluster.
