SYSTEM privilege escalation via writable service directory

Privilege escalation in Microsoft Azure Site Recovery before 9.49 allows local users to gain SYSTEM privileges through DLL planting. The automatically started cxprocessserver service runs as SYSTEM, while special permissions let normal users create files in its executable directory and plant a DLL that the service loads. Exploitation requires standard user credentials on the Windows host running the Process Server; the flaw affects replication infrastructure rather than protected workloads.
