Unauthenticated code execution via unauthenticated control commands
Published Jan 28, 2025 · Updated Jan 28, 2025
Command injection in Emote Interactive Remote Mouse Server 4.110 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through its control protocol. The server accepts trivially encoded keyboard-control messages without enforcing authentication, allowing them to open the Windows Run dialog and type commands. The default no-password configuration exposes the service, and commands run with the privileges of the Remote Mouse Server process.
