CVE-2022-3354Public exploit

UPF crash via UDP port scan

Published Sep 28, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Denial of service in Open5GS 2.4.0 through 2.4.10 allows attackers with adjacent access to crash the UPF via a UDP port scan. The UDP packet handler in lib/core/ogs-tlv-msg.c fails while processing scan-generated probe traffic, but the public issue does not disclose the specific invalid operation. Reachability requires access to a UPF UDP interface; exploitation terminates the UPF process without a reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
