DNS record forgery via unvalidated root keys

Improper DNSSEC validation in peterzen goresolver 1.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to make forged DNS records appear valid. The chain-of-trust verifier accepts a DNSKEY supplied as a self-signed root without comparing it to an authentic root trust anchor, so an attacker-controlled delegation chain passes validation. Exploitation requires control of DNS replies reaching a consuming application and can redirect or falsify the data that application trusts.
