Object injection via ignored nonce failures
Published Oct 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
PHAR deserialization in Automattic Jetpack CRM 5.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject PHP objects through the CSV importer. The zeroBSCRM_CSVImporterLitehtml_app function continues after failed nonce checks in steps 2 and 3, then passes the attacker-controlled zbscrmcsvimpf value to file_exists, which invokes PHAR deserialization for a phar:// path. Exploitation requires an uploaded PHAR archive and administrator interaction, and injected objects enter the WordPress PHP execution stream.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
