Unauthenticated SSRF via crafted Agent Handler XML
Published Oct 18, 2022 · Updated May 13, 2025
XXE in Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator before 5.10 Update 14 allows remote attackers to issue server-side requests through its API. The Agent Handler API parses attacker-supplied XML with external entities enabled after accepting a request that mimics an Agent Handler call. No authentication is required; successful exploitation makes the ePO server access attacker-selected resources, with low confidentiality and integrity impact.
