Unauthenticated command execution via ajax endpoint
Published Jun 30, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Command injection in Robustel R1510 3.3.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via crafted network requests. The web_server /ajax/set_sys_time/ API passes attacker-controlled request data into an operating-system command without adequate neutralization. The endpoint is reachable over the network without authentication, so a sequence of requests can compromise router confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
