Authenticated command execution via unquoted file name
Published Jun 30, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
OS command injection in Robustel R1510 3.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through the /ajax/remove/ API. The handler rejects only file_name values containing "..", interpolates the remaining input into an rm command, and passes the resulting string to system(). Reachability requires network access to the web GUI and an account permitted to edit functions; commands execute in the web server's operating-system context.
