Improper resource shutdown in Mitsubishi Electric MELSEC iQ-R, iQ-L and MELIPC firmware allows remote attackers to cause Ethernet service interruption via crafted packets. The vulnerable Ethernet communication handling fails to release resources correctly when processing specially crafted packets, leaving the module unable to communicate. No authentication is required, and recovery requires a system reset; confidentiality and integrity impacts are not reported.
