Arbitrary code execution via malicious XAML
Published Jul 20, 2022 · Updated Jan 9, 2026
Deserialization of untrusted data in Mitsubishi Electric GENESIS64 10.97.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a monitoring screen file. The graphic monitoring function improperly validates monitoring screen files and deserializes attacker-controlled XAML. A user must be led to load the file; successful execution can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
