Authenticated command execution via certificate import path
Published Jun 30, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
OS command injection in Robustel R1510 3.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted certificate import. The /action/import_cert_file/ handler reads the path parameter and, when the directory is absent, passes it unquoted to sysprintf, which builds and executes a mkdir shell command. Administrator-level web access is required, and successful injection grants command execution on the router's underlying system.
