NULL pointer dereference in the Qualcomm Snapdragon modem allows remote attackers to cause a transient service interruption via invalid DCCH messages. The modem dereferences a NULL pointer while sending an invalid message in the DCCH path; Qualcomm has not disclosed the affected routine or input-validation failure. Network access is sufficient and requires neither authentication nor user interaction; the reported consequence is a transient modem service interruption.
