Transient modem denial of service via packet pullup
Published May 2, 2023 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
NULL pointer dereference in Qualcomm Snapdragon modem firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt service via received TCP or UDP packets. The modem packet-pullup path dereferences a null pointer while consolidating received TCP or UDP packet data. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is a transient modem interruption rather than data exposure or modification.
