Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon Auto allows local users to corrupt memory via crafted IOCTL calls during video playback. Automotive Multimedia permits an integer overflow while processing video-playback IOCTL data, and the wrapped value leads to a buffer overflow. The path requires no privileges or user interaction but is local to an affected vehicle platform, where successful exploitation exposes or alters data or interrupts service.
