Reachable assertion in the modem firmware of Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets allows remote attackers to cause a transient service interruption. The modem accepts network input along a path that can reach an assertion; Qualcomm has not disclosed the specific input or assertion locus. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to temporary loss of modem availability.
