Reachable assertion in Qualcomm Snapdragon modem firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt service via an invalid network configuration. The closed-source modem component processes the invalid configuration until an assertion is reached, causing a transient denial of service; Qualcomm has not published the assertion locus or triggering field. Network access requires no authentication or user interaction, and the reported impact is a temporary service interruption rather than data access or code execution.
