Buffer over-read in the modem DNS parser in Qualcomm Snapdragon allows remote attackers to disclose memory through crafted DNS responses. The proprietary parser reads beyond a response buffer while decoding an untrusted DNS reply; Qualcomm has not disclosed the responsible function or exact length-check failure. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exploitation can reveal adjacent modem memory and reduce modem availability without enabling data modification.
