CVE-2022-33219

Memory corruption via shared-buffer integer overflow

Published Jan 6, 2023 · Updated Apr 9, 2025

Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon Automotive chipsets allows local users to corrupt memory during listener registration. The listener-registration path overflows an integer used for a shared buffer, producing a buffer overflow when the new listener is registered. Local access is required, but no application privilege or user interaction is required; successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
