Transient service interruption via improper ELF parsing

Improper input validation in Qualcomm Snapdragon automotive firmware allows local users to interrupt service through a crafted ELF file. The automotive ELF parser processes the file without sufficient validation, but Qualcomm has not disclosed the rejected property or failure path. High privileges are required, and successful exploitation causes only a transient interruption rather than data disclosure or modification.
