Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon Auto allows local users to compromise automotive multimedia by sending a command request with a very large type value. The parser applies an out-of-range pointer offset while handling that packet type, corrupting memory. No authentication or user interaction is required once the local command interface is reachable, and the published record does not document effects beyond the resulting memory corruption.
