Authenticated command execution via unneutralized wireless parameters
Published Oct 25, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
OS command injection in Abode Systems iota All-In-One Security Kit 6.9X and 6.9Z allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The web_wireless_connect function inserts key and default_key_id values into wpa_cli command strings without neutralization and executes them through popen as root. Exploitation requires enabled wireless functionality and access to the authenticated local web interface, which is disabled by default.
