API key replacement via missing nonce validation
Published Aug 5, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in MailerLite – Signup forms (official) 1.5.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to change the API key. Plugin settings-update handlers accept forged requests without validating a WordPress nonce before storing a replacement API key. An administrator must follow an attacker-controlled link or submit a crafted form, after which the stored integration credential is replaced.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
