Local policy bypass via unrestricted custom endpoint command
Published Oct 28, 2022 · Updated May 5, 2025
Missing authorization in affected Cloudflare WARP releases allows local users to bypass Zero Trust Secure Web Gateway policies. The warp-cli set-custom-endpoint command accepts an unreachable endpoint without enforcing administrative restrictions, disconnecting the client from Cloudflare and removing policy enforcement. Exploitation requires command access on a Zero Trust-enrolled endpoint; Windows before 2022.8.857.0, macOS before 2022.8.861.0, and Linux before 2022.8.936 are affected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
