Stack buffer overflow in the Brocade Fabric OS CLI allows remote authenticated users to interrupt a switch through crafted command input. Broadcom identifies firmwaredownload and diagshow as the affected command paths but has not disclosed the unchecked operation that overruns the stack buffer. An authenticated network session is required; exploitation can interrupt switch service and alter limited state, with no documented disclosure.
