CVE-2022-33181

Sensitive-file disclosure via configshow and supportlink

Published Oct 25, 2022 · Updated May 7, 2025

Information disclosure in affected Brocade Fabric OS releases allows local authenticated users to read sensitive files through switch CLI commands. The configshow and supportlink command handlers return sensitive file contents to a low-privileged authenticated session instead of enforcing intended access restrictions. A local CLI session with low privileges is required; the published impact is limited to confidentiality, with no integrity or availability effect.
