Cross-site scripting via unvalidated journal identifier

Cross-site scripting in the libconnect extension for TYPO3 before 7.0.8 and 8.0.0 through 8.0.2 allows remote attackers to execute browser script. The displayParticipantsFormAction method accepts a request-supplied jourid without confirming that it is numeric before using it in journal lookups and assigning it to the rendered view. Exploitation requires a user to load the crafted response, allowing attacker-controlled script to execute in that user's browser.
